The Road

LAST evening I walked down a long and narrow road along the the way I seen many things in my life,
I seen happiness....loving ,caring..as I went on I seen sadness ..tears and pain..

The journey was long and the road rough, as I approached the end I seen hope standing there,

The road had come to a end .

As I looked out over the end of the road I seen darkness a sea of emptiness .

But in the distance I seen a light I stepped out onto the emptiness being carefully each step I took my foot would not slip into the darkness to take me down deep inside the emptiness beneath me.

Walking slowly across the emptiness I approaches the light looking up I seen what the light was.,the dawning of a new day.

It was then I knew I had made it through another restless night
