Wagons

These first 2 Sheep Wargons were built about 1955,they were used for transporting sheep from sale yards to the abattoir 1 of these is in good condition even though they have been sitting in a paddock for the last 12 years, they were bogged down in black soil but with some help from a crane were loaded onto a truck to be transported to Toowoomba. Another crane was needed for the lift off the truck in Goggs St, the 2 cranes made quick work of unloading both into our shed which will be their home for the next 6 months, with restoration starting in the weeks to come. Our thanks to Leroy S Towing for transporting them to our Shed. The other 4 sheep wagons will be moved when the Drayton site is fenced and the shed is up on the site so stay tuned for more updates
