Quick List to Stamps & Products for Cooking

1. How about stamping up a chef 's style apron to wear at the demo, or to give as a gift to the hostess? You can get them in most craft stores and they aren't very expensive.  Laura '98

2. Make an actual apron card. Cut the left & right corners off at an oval angle, hole punch two holes in the top neck area, thread a ribbon through it, this is the "neck" of your apron.

Use the Vineyard Berry stamp pad to stamp the apron up (this color is similar to PC logo colors), two background stamps from any Super Set and a second color choice stamp pad. If you use an oatmeal colored card stock you have the (PC) image at your finger tips - the color of their demo aprons, and the ink of their logo. Some additional stamps you may want to use are thank you stamps.  Shelly '98

3. There are some very simple things you can do as thank you's to hostesses:

  • Stamp up some of our recipe cards, and tie up with raffia.

  • Make a bread basket liner stamping with Fabrico. You can get muslin napkins for $2.00 or less at your local discount stores.  These would be good liners for baskets.

  • Make a holder using a door hanger holding some goodies (candy, tea bags, etc.), score the door hanger from the bottom, 3" and then 4". Also score across the top where the arch piece meets the straight edge. Stamp up with some cute seasonal stamps, and fill a little clear bag with goodies - whatever you choose. Then fold all the score marks as mountain folds. On the back (where the hole isn't) stamp to and for, or thanks for being a great hostess! Attach the little baggie inside so it shows through the hole(front) with a staple at the very top, and fold the arched flap over, attach with double stick tape. These stand up and are cute and inexpensive and don't take to long.   Treva '99

    4. Use the small gingerbread man. You cut out a square using the silver metalic paper and crimp just the edges to make it look like a cookie sheet. Then stamp the gingerbread man 2-3 times on natural paper or color (whatever you prefer) and mount them on the cookie sheet. Then mount the cookie sheet on the red jewels sampler paper with a "Merry Christmas" stamped on it, or other sentiment.

    5. On a piece of white glossy paper, stamp "From My Kitchen" with Cranberry ink. Cut that so it will fit on a regular size card. Glue to a Cranberry card. Now take a small square (about 1"x1") of Cranberry Cardstock and glue that to the center of the card. Stamp "Here's What's Cookin'" (from the Heart Super Set) on a scratch piece of white glossy Cardstock with Cranberry ink. Glue that on top of the Cranberry square. Glue a raffia bow to the top of the card.

    6. Make a "Sweet Shop" scrapbook page. Using a red and white checkered piece of Background & Textured paper, scallop cut across the bottom of a strip to be a page topper. On that strip stamp "Sweet Shoppe". Take one of the long recipe cards and angle it, from the upper left (below the page topper) to the lower right and than stamp "Cookie" and put him to the left and slightly overlapping the recipe card.

You can use the center of the large sunflower stamp and it looks like a cookie. Do a "cookie" background, and then layer a card with "Thank You" over that background and embellish. Looks really cute. Cheryl '99

    7. Use the jar stamp. Stamp it in place on a white side fold card. Stamp the jar as close to the fold as possible. Then cut it out leaving the fold at the left side of the jar. Fill the jar with whatever you want and you have a jar shaped card. You could use this for recipes, for tags for homemade goodies, thank you cards, etc. unknown
