Bill and Velma Bjerkness have been singing western and gospel music for over forty years. Bill writes many of his own songs and ably performs them with yodel and whistle embellishments. Velma's rich harmonies blend in to give an overall pleasing sound. They have been featured at Country and Bluegrass festivals and Cowboy Gatherings as well as on Radio and T.V. They have recorded an L.P,"Wisemen Still Seek Jesus" and three cassettes, one with all origional material and a second, a trio with their son, Tim.Their newest cassette is titled,"Just Us" which features songs such as,"The Old Spinning Wheel".
