Carlene has been spotted!!

Carlene Carter more recent info:

Since the launch of this website, Carlene has been not only officially located, but she has been (off the record) spotted at several places on the Eastern side of the Mississippi. Site visitors have reported seeing her at Restaurants in both Tennessee and Maryland. She has been seen out with various boyfriends (since Howie Epstein has passed).

I hear she looks great and even saw some recent pictures taken of her last May (2004) when she was seen at the Carter Family Fold in rural Virginia. I personally stumbled on the Carter Family Fold website 3 months later and read that the Fold was going to have a 30th Anniversary celebration which I attended. I did so hope to see Carlene there (returning for the celebration but I had no such luck. Carlene did not show up.) I did hear a lot of great Bluegrass music and saw a lot of musical talent while there. Marty Stuart was supposedly also at the fold that May. I missed them both by a heartbreaking 100 days.

To anyone who gets wind of an upcoming Carlene appearance, please help me make a personal dream come true and come whisper the news to me. I gotta meet Carlene someday.
