~Bremervale Acres Update~

Barn News

If you go to the Barns page, you will notice that we currently have only ONE barn. I have just created a barn called

as the majority of horses on BA are Arabians - but you CAN board any breed of horse there! At least until we have another barn! Please sign up your barn as soon as possible! I need more! But as another note, please do not sign the form if you have not actually made the barn yet. Otherwise it is just a waste of your time signing up, and a waste of my time telling you that you must make it first! I know that this is quite a nag, but PLEASE help me here!

Businesses

Just like the barns, we are low on businesses too. If you would like to create a business, some good ideas that are desperately needed are a farrier, a vet, tack shop, feed supply shop, picture personaliser, etc. and there are stable jobs like trainers, excersise riders, stable hands etc. But if you can think of some other jobs, then that would be absolutely fantastic!

Adopt-A-Horse

You can adopt a horse after you have joined. When you sign up the join form, you have the choice of creating one or two horses. As this is a new rule, members from the game at the old site have yet to do this. So you may find that when you go onto a member's page, they may not have any horses. This is the reason. Now you can not join without making a horse.

Anyway - the Adopt-A-Horse page has been made so that you can have more than those two horses! This is great news, because you do not have to pay for them! But please - wait for my OK that they have been made before you start entering them in shows and boarding them at barns (although we have none!). The barn owners will be advised that before they accept a horse into their stables, that they should have a look to make sure that your name is actually on the members page and if the horse is listed on the List Of All Horses page.

Shows

Let me get one thing straight - only barn owners may host shows. This means that if you do not own a barn, then you can not host a show. As there is only one barn, there is only one show that is currently being run! If you see a horse that has more points than 0+ at the moment, please email me as soon as you find out so that I can eliminate the owner of the horse and all of his/her horses from the game. The only show that is being run at the moment is the Elusive Arabians Grand Opening Show! Just a reminder to sign up your barn as soon as possible!

Stud Book

The stud book is for stallions. It is there for you to find a good stallion that will go well with your mare. Please do not sign up your mares or if your stallion has no stud fee!

Horse Of The Month

Please get your Horse Of The Month Nominations in now! We need some more horses to be nominated, so that then people can vote for them! I have announced the Horse Of The Month for May on May 1, 2000. This horse is Padrons Psyche, owned by ~HorseGal~. Padrons Psyche will stay Horse Of The Month until I announce the new Horse Of The Month on June 1, 2000. I hope that this will not cause any fighting between our members, because if it does, then I will have to remove it off the homepage. Remember - just because a horse has been chosen for Horse Of The Month, it does not mean that they are better than all of the other horses! It only means that your horse was unanimously voted to be put on the Horse of The Month page! Place your nominations at this page here and vote for one of these horses at this page here.

As I have just made the points page, I am hoping that there will be no confusion over how the points are labelled. If you do not understand, then please email me with your questions, or try having another look at the points page.
