you have heard of the numerous exploits and adventures of J. J. StClaire. Obviously the recitation of all of his
adventures would fill volumes. Among the
most famous of his exploits include his peace talks with the Yummen cannibal tribe deep in the Amazon, his discovery of
the rare and endangered J-Jay bird, and his great excursion through the Golden
Plains of the Himalayas. J. J. StClaire was born in a small village
near the great Mississippi River. When he was seven years old he won the “Best
Nature Drawing” at the Henderson Street First Baptist Summer Camp. Naturally he pursued his emerging talents and
at the young age of 16 dropped his secondary school studies and accepted a
scholarship to the acclaimed Wayne’s School of Drawing.
He acquired his taste for traveling the globe at 22, when his position
at the local air filter factory was moved to Mexico. And the rest is History. You are fortunate indeed to be able to relive
his adventures here on these very pages.
For these stories are inspired by actual events in the life of J. J.
StClaire; artfully illustrated and penned by his very own hand! So remember this, faithful reader, as you sit
