Another Find Weekend for the Baron

Hi there faithful readers. I had another wonderful weekend. I was with my girls until noon on Saturday when their mom came and picked them up to go back to her house.

Today I went early and picked up the girls and my mom. We went to a family picnic. This picnic has been on the 2nd. Sunday of September for as long as I can remember. We had a great time. Amy, the 5 year old played hard. She was quite worn out when it was all over. It was great seeing all my relatives.

I hosted a collectibles meeting on Saturday. The Derby City Hotwheelers have been meeting now for 12 years. Our attendance has wained over the years. I am considering changing a rule. Our web page is here,

Up to this point we've had a rule where no new regular cars may sell for more than $2.00. We've heard that this rule keeps people away. I have sent an email to club members asking them for their opinion. I will get responses soon I hope.

Next is my 1st. entry of a Jon Jon'zz Martian Manhunter comic of my favorite character doc.

A Fine Labor Day Weekend

Wow, things have been great, This weekend with my daughters has been very enjoyable. Since my divorce I've learned to appreciate them more.

Saturday I took my sweet tea (Tina) to a friends for a sleepover. The parents were holding a party for friends. I and my kids were treated to fine food and great courtesy.

Today, I took all 3 of my girls to the country (I live in the suburbs). We had a picnic, had a great time with my brother, sister, brother in law, and their kids. We fished, Kelly and I caught a fish each. We explored, we climbed a big vertical,ridge dense with growth. I was very proud of my 5 year old and she was proud of herself.

I have to give credit to our buddy, the "doc". He is instrumental in creating the Internet Skank Squad. In his twisted mind, he came to believe that some of the the fine ladies I've met on the internet must be skanks. Why I can't say. That is how he met his current girlfriend. The differences escape me.

The Internet Skank Squad will hold their 1st. meeting in Richmond Va. on October 1st.

Tuesday Night, Eric Clapton is playing

Hello Lads and Lassies from the Blue Baron
It's been a wet day here. The effects of Hurricane Katrina have blown through. I had to unload a lot of phone equipment in the rain. All in all it was a nice day. After getting off work early, I came home to my great daughters.

Tonight was uneventful but nice. I spent some cherished time on my the front porch swing with my 5 year old. She is always eager to show me new dances. She pretends a laptop screen is built into the side of the swing, and reviews imaginary pictures with me.

Next is the latest installment of tales from the doc side. The next 3 comics will use Jon Jonz, the DC martian manhunter. Look for it soon.

Here is another entry on the "doc". Thanks to Matt Groen for his image of the Simpson's comic book guy.

I'm divorced and have 3 great daughters with whom I share joint custody. Today they've come back to my house. I took my 5 year old to do the grocery shopping.

A new pizza joint was giving away free pizza and pop. My 5 year got a free frisbee and pencil in a beanbag through game.
My 14 and 16 year olds have walked down to the comic book store.

When I don't have the girls, my work has me very busy. When I have the girls I dedicate my time to their attention. I never travel more than an hour away in case I need to get back to them.

I'm a phone guy. I work for a private company,
