Background: Keeley was born to a young mother, who already had an 6 year old son, Joseph. Eileen didn't know who either of her kids' fathers were, so she told them when they were growing up that Daddy was dead. They moved around, from place to place, as Eileen found work, then lost her job, then got evicted from wherever they were living at. Joe was basically the one to really take care of Keeley. He protected her as best as he could from everything from gangs to whoever Mommy was dating at the time. One time, he didn't protect her well enough from a boyfriend when she was 11. After he caught up with the guy, he was sent to juvenile hall for a couple of months. Eileen packed up and left after another job lost, and tried to take Keeley with her. She wouldn't go. Mom left without her.

Keeley lived on the streets or with friends until her brother was released. He was a bit startled to see only Keeley waiting for him, but not overly surprised. It was around this time that she started exhibiting her mutant powers, especially the healing one. They made some money off that, plus Joe's job as a bouncer.

Eventually, Joe joined the Marines, when Keeley was 13. She laid low until basic was over, and waited for Joe to get an exemption. He did, and she went to live on base with him. She lived happily for most of the time, but often went into depressive, uncontrollable rages due to her mutant powers. Joe did his research, found the Xavier School and enrolled her. She did so well that she ended up being promoted to X-Man upon graduation.

Personality: Keeley is a troubled young woman, always expecting the bottom to fall out of her little world and everything to come crashing down. She has a smart mouth, and she doesn't know when to shut it. She's a pessimist with a bad attitude and a problem with authority. She will listen to orders, and she's good at her job, but she'll bitch the entire time. She is a bit promiscious. Due to her adrenaline, she's often viewed as "unstable."
