WILL AND TANYA'S HOME

My Dear Grandkids

My dear grandchildren:
I am quite happy with this nursing home you moved me into.
I does not seem like two and a half years have gone bye, since I last saw any family.
They are so wonderful here. They leave me alone, most of the time.
On Tuesdays, they change my bed, and my diaper, and give me a bath. That way I get to go to the cafeteria to eat with the others.
The rest of the week I eat in my room, so as not to bother anyone else with the smell.
Last week I had a cold and was coughing and making to much noise, Tom came into the room and helped me stop disturbing the others.
It is amazing what a little duct tape will do.
I wish I had known about it when you was younger.
He is so good at helping me.
I haven't been feeling all too well this past week, and despite the fact that my dear friend and roommate died last night at the age of 96, I am carrying my burdens quite well.
I think she died because, Tom helped her too much the other night with her cough.
I have to go now. It must be Tuesday, cause I see the nurses stringing out the water hose. I don't want to keep Tom any longer than I have to.
I just want you to know that, I understand that you have a very busy schedule, and you are too busy to visit your grandmother.
To make sure that you will not forget me,
I am sending you this lovely picture of me, showing you my appreciation. Your loving grandma
