-1994-Entered professional circuit at age fourteen
-1995-signed twelve million dollar endorsement with Reebok
-1997- WTA Newcomer of the Year
-1998-Clocked 125 mph serve
-1998-Won Grand Slam Cup in Germany
-2000-Won Wimbledon and U.S. Open Singles Title
-2001-Won Wimbledon and U.S. Open Singles Title


Venus Williams's Contributions to the U.S:

-One of the only Black women on the U.S. pro-circuit(Price.)

-First black woman to win Wimbledon since Althea Gibson in 1957 and 1958 (Price).
