The Best Television Episodes EVER!

  1. The Dead Zone - Playing God: The best episode of The Dead Zone, John Smith discovers that sometimes his visions are not supposed to be changed. God sends him this vision to teach him a lesson that is one of the most painful for us to enjoy.
  2. Alias - Phase One: SD-6 is ended, Sydney and Vaughn FINALLY get to show their love for each other, Jen Gardner starts the episode in underwear, Sloane ends the Alliance... and then, Francie, Sydney's best friend, is murdered and replaced with an evil double hired by Sloane. A cry worthy episode.
  3. Twin Peaks - Arbitrary Law: The killer of Laura Palmer is discovered in possibly the best directed episodes of Twin Peaks (not done by Lynch). The finale not only could end the show, but adds to the mythology as well. Does BOB exist? Or was it is her father all the time, all along?
  4. Boomtown - The Freak: The Russian Mob wants to kill a little girl and her mother for wanting to witness a blatant murder. Fearless, the cop, takes it upon himself to save the day. In one of the best action scenes ever on television, Fearless takes on the entire Russian Mob Hit Force and Crime Boss at a motel.
  5. The Dead Zone - The Outsider: Another great Dead Zone episode. Turns out a beauty cream will kill an entire generation of babies, but the evidence to prove it will not be discovered until three years after they start dying. Johnny Smith fights an impossible war against a major pharmaceutical corporation, speeds up technology by hooking up two lovers together, best of all he saves the babies in one of the best endings ever for the show. This was also probably one of the best "stand alone" episodes of the series.
  6. The X-Files - Jump the Shark: The episode wraps up The Lone Gunmen TV show... but at a great cost. One of the few episodes of TV to make me cry.
  7. The X-Files - One Breath: Scully is on the verge of death and Mulder learns a terrible lesson that sometimes he can do nothing. He tries to kill Smoking Man (who always wins) and fights X. He has a chance to save Scully, the price? His soul. In the end, Scully saves herself. Her scenes in her coma dreams are some of the most imaginative and wonderful ever shot for TV. Her scenes with Nurse Owens are great.
  8. Dark Angel - Blah Blah Woof Woof: I'm not sure if it's a BEST EVER, but I liked it. Why? The story of the show actually progresses. Max is outed and is hunted down by the police. She most run from the police and leaves her friends behind. Meanwhile, Logan, her wheelchair friend, is dying from a piece of shrapnel in his spine. They get it removed, but he loses a lot of blood and will die. Meanwhile, the dorks of the delievery service get one of their own to control the joint. He goes crazy when he starts to feel bad for his boss. Meanwhile, fellow super human, Zack, risks his neck to save Max. In the end, Zack gives himself to the police for Max and looks like he killed himself (yeah, right). But the winning moment of the show goes to: the dream Max and Logan share (when Max gives him a blood transfusion... with her own blood) where Logan can dance and they declare their love. The losing moment: The ending is a cop-out. Everything returns to normal and Logan and Max DO NOT get to together or share ANY love. Boo. >:(

The Best Season/Series Finales EVER!

  1. Newheart (Series Finale) - Bob Newheart wakes up and discovers the entire show was a dream he had on the "Bob Newheart Show". His old wife of that show guest stars for the ending's greatest punch.
  2. 24 Season 1 Finale - After the longest day of his life, Jack Bauer saves his daughter, captures the CTA mole, kills Dennis Hopper and his son, saves Senator Palmer's life (twice!), Palmer divorces his wife after she betrays his trust, but at the end of it all... his pregnant wife dies.
  3. 24 Season 3 Finale - After two days of hell and fighting off a drug habit, Jack has about 20 seconds of rest. What does he do? Cry. He cries for his few seconds of peace. He killed a friend, saved the world, chopped off his partner's hand, fought drugs, killed the murderer of his wife... Jack CRIES. He is then interrupted for a new assignment - the day keeps getting longer for Jack Bauer. GREAT ENDING.
  4. 24 Season 4 Finale - Jack fakes his death after saving the world to avoid being assassinated for real. He is no longer an American citizen. He and ex-President Palmer leave each other forever. And Jack Bauer is alone, with sunglasses, walking into the sunrise in a Hulk-inspired ending.
  5. M.A.S.H. Series Finale - I don't know, people like it. I like that a chicken being smoothered to death turned out to be a baby.
  6. Boomtown Season 1 Finale - In what could be considered the real last episode, Joel is the suspect in a crime of dirty cops. He is betrayed by one of his own men. However, good prevails, the traitor saves the day. Best of all, Joel and his wife make peace with the death of their second child. Somehow, this single episode summed up what the show was all about: loyality, love, friendship, and compassion.
  7. Rosanne Series Finale - The whole last season turns out to be a book Rosanne wrote. She changed the facts of her life, because that's how she wished life was. Dan died many episodes back of a heart attack. This is the first episode of television to ever make me cry.
  8. Dark Angel (Freak Nation Season 2 Finale) - Despite ending the show on a cliff hanger, it ends in a fairly good place. The characters get to live on a fragile peace and how we as humanity live decides their fate.

The WORST Television Episodes EVER!

  1. Pee-Wee's Playhouse - Unknown episode: This is the episode in the fifth season where a dog is shown eating for about 10 minutes and two cartoons are shown in a row, because Pee-Wee says, "Wow, that was so great, I want to watch another one". They didn't even try.
  2. The Simpsons - The Fake Skinner Episode: Even the writers hated this episode. They tried to pull a fast one saying that Principle Skinner is really Martin Sheen... or something.
  3. ALF - The Series Finale: Ends with the worst cliffhanger of all time. ALF is captured by the military... later to star in probably the best television movie EVER MADE!
  4. Dark Angel - Dream Episode: A very weird Halloween episode turns out to be a dream and the show's lowest moment.
  5. Dark Angel - Season 2 unknown episode: Nothing happens in this episode, but every episode following continue the mythology on a no holds barred pasing. At least some good came of it.

The Best Television Movies EVER MADE!

  1. Project ALF - Wraps up the show and ALF shows he still has it.
  2. Brotherhood of Justice - Keanu Reeves AND Kiefer Sutherland. Billy Zane is a plus.
  3. 15 and Pregnant - I never finished watching it, it was so painful... painfully sad.
  4. IT - Stephen King. 'Nough said.
  5. The Stand - Stephen King again... still great.
