Celtics forward Eric Williams underwent two surgical procedures yesterday at New England Baptist Hospital.
One operation was an arthroscopy to remove debris around the patella tendon in his left knee and alleviate the chronic pain Williams endured last season. The other procedure was on his right pinky finger, which Williams injured against Charlotte Feb. 5. Doctors released a contracted knuckle joint on the finger - which Williams had been unable to straighten - and placed an external brace on it.
Williams will begin therapy in two days and is expected to be available for training camp.
