The Beginning

Mist Valley Holt began as two sperate tribes, which at one point, very long ago, were one tribe. These two tribes, Warren and BriarHolt, merged under agreement by their respective chiefs after BriarHolt burned in a horendous fire.

Warren Holt was formly run by SweetHowl several turns ago before the holt itself was flooded and other natural occurances happened. This has always been a fairly quiet place for elves to live in peace, and usually attracted wanders from the Scattered Tribe and Solitary elves. After a time, when SweetHowl decided to wander Abode, she passed the chieftain's knot on to PreyRunner, who has since kept watch over this peaceful tribe. it was under PreyRunner's guidance that the then small tribe elves moved their home from an encampment at the base of the mountains, to a secluded valley hidden among the peaks.

Though plagued by snows that block the high pass, this valley is perfect for any tribe of hunters and gatherers. The forests hide plenty of game and a scenic waterfall where many go to play during the heat of summer. Beyond the water, deep primeval forest beckon to the explorers.

Present Day

In current times, the holt has seen many elves filling its ranks, new lives being born, and young elves blossoming into new adults. Trouble still abounds in the quiet depths of the forests, just waiting for the curious elf to find it.
