Bananas opened its first Club in
Poughkeepsie, New York in 1986.
The Club brought in a diversity of headliners, ranging from
Sinbad and Bobcat Goldthwait to Jamie Foxx and Jackie Mason.
Based on that success, Bananas began its second venture two
years later in suburban Bergen County,
New Jersey
Attracting customers from all
over the metropolitan area, the club
continued to present the hottest names in comedy,
from Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock,
to Tim Allen, Paul Reiser, and Rita Rudner.
Current superstars such as John Pinette, Jeff Dunham, Jim Breuer, Brian Regan, and Caroline Rhea join comedy legends
like Pat Cooper and Robert Klein in continuing to captivate and
wow the crowds at these two comedy hotspots.
