| March 8, 2003 - The rest of January and all of February are now up at my old site /february. Too lazy and mean to link, but check 'em out if you care. February 1, 2003 - I'm practically maxed out on webspace, so come Monday I think I'll start getting that in order. Until then I won't be putting up more comics at this site, (though I'll continue doing them and try to keep up to date for the relaunch). Expect a link to come up here to the new site sometime soon. I apologize for my laziness, but the untitled comics above (ranging from January 19-27) should make up for it somewhat (okay, they won't). January 31, 2003 - As of right now I think I have five comics done, one colored and lettered but not shaded, and two more scanned, but I'm too tired to put them up right now. Expect them up later today. January 23, 2003 - Okay, I'm still four behind, but new ones are up (starting here). In general, there's some experimental stuff with the sky, hair (only for one), and I think Jane's shirt color inadvertantly fluxuates slightly, but finally Brittany is back! Anyway, I think I'm subconsciously falling behind in an effort not to get a new server and stuff. Hopefully, when I fill up all the space on this site I'll force myself to. Over the weekend I'll try to get everything back up to date, and is it just me or does Jane look incredibly similar to Alyson Hannigan in the picture above? I must be watching too much Buffy. January 17, 2003 - Bah, I'm behind again, and even though I'd like to blame TJ for putting me a day behind with his post-pianist shenanigans, I think the only thing at fault is my laziness. Oh well, I should get caught up sometime this weekend and with any luck get around to getting a real site too. Oh yeah, and I kinda started experimenting with Jane and Sean's hair, tell me what you think (though I think I'm generally going to abandom what I tried with Jane because I think it makes her hair look too light but keep Sean's new style... maybe). January 8, 2003 - Yeah, today's comic is not funny at all; it's just a set up for tomorrow's comic sorry. To make up for it though, the cast page is finally up. Though I'll definitely be changing and adding to the horribly short and corny descriptions that are presently up of the three main characters (not to mention throwing in an introduction and bios of Doug, Amy, and Jane's parents) sometime next week (once I have homework to put off), you can check out the new pics I drew of each character, which, despite their horrible proportions, are in all honesty probably my best drawings yet (though Brittany doesn't look much like Brittany, serves me right for not drawing her in like a month). January 6, 2003 - As you can probably see I got a new pen that seems even better that the old one. I'm also kinda ahead as I have penciled and inked (though not lettered, numbered, and shaded) through the ninth. And about that character page? I think I've finally gotten around to it. Here's a ginormous, band-width killing picture of Jane to prove it. Pics of Sean and Brittany are already in the same condition, so hopefully I can get around to coloring and shading them later today and have a characters page up tomorrow. January 3, 2003 - Happy New Year! Okay, now that that manditory greeting is out of the way, I can state that it's my current excuse for why I'm behind. Anyway since I have nothing planned before I get back (no thanks to Tim or Jason (i.e. call/e-mail me, you fuckers)) I should get up-to-date and maybe even have that characters' page finished soon (but now that I've said it, I've jinxed it). Other things I should point out is that the temp. pen I used for the new ones (that start here, by the way) sucks hard, it's like I used a fucking sharpe. Anyway in the first of the new batch you can see the old pen dying in Jane's mother's hair, and I still haven't tried the new pens I finally bought. So I'm behind due to that whole pen thing and the fact that I felt I owed TJ his guest spot in color. Pleh. |
