A real oddity, but worth seeing at least once if you can find it (the cable channel American Movie Classics occasionally broadcasts it). During their first two years of making talkies, Laurel & Hardy did foreign-language versions of their movies, saying their dialogue phonetically. This one is a Spanish version of their half-hour short Chickens Come Home. The L&H segments are very funny. Unfortunately, the movie was expanded to feature length by including two Spanish acts that stop the movie cold (and one of them involves a man spitting water and kerosene), so don't say you weren't warned.
