About the Webmaster

The hiring of a webmaster is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements. Before you decide, ask somebody (just not us) to send you free written information about our qualifications and experience.

Steve Bailey has been a resident of the Jacksonville, FL. area for nearly 30 years and has lived in Jacksonville Beach for the past 12 years.

Steve has written weekly movie reviews for Jacksonville Beach's The Beaches Leader newspaper since April 1997. He was recognized as Florida's best weekly-newspaper critic for 2003 and 2004 by the Florida Press Association.

Additionally, Steve has proudly served as Grand Sheik of the "Leave 'em Laughing" Tent (Jacksonville's chapter of The International Laurel & Hardy Appreciation Society) since Aug. 2006.

Steve has also written, directed, and co-starred in several plays for Jacksonville's Boomtown Theatre, owing to the theater manager's severe lack of good taste.

Finally, though Steve has been happily married for 18 years, he has never overcome his obsession for Adrienne Barbeau.

The Internet Pasture

by Steven Bailey

(with apologies to Robert Frost)

I'm going to surf the Internet

And plot upon it all my writing schemes

And fritter away all my hopes and dreams.

I shan't be long. -- You come too.

I'm going to neglect my social life

And all fraternal duties shall I shirk

While my kids wonder why I never work.

I shan't be long. -- You come too.

(C) 2007, Steven Bailey.
