The Last Action Hero CCG is a Collectible Card Game that is entireley internet based and played via the CardTable system (CT). This makes it so that the game is really no longer collectible, but that does not really matter since the whole purpose is playability. You could always resize and print the cards out and play them in person instead of playing them over the free Cardtable system (check out the link below).
The basic thought behind the game is that of the movie: Last Action Hero. The movies content is barely included in the game, but it is the thought behind the movies Golden Ticket that let the main character both go into the movies and take things out of them...so what would happen if we combined the superheros from X-Men and pitted them against Spawn's Violater? That is the basic premise behind the game's content: battling movie action stars versus each other.
The game is also a giant crossover realm for the cards from the Aliens vs. Predator CCG and the Terminator CCG (T1). It incorporates the same game mechanics as the previous two and adds a very few changes, such as a fixed environment that allows for the previous two games to easily integrate into the Universal System (what i am calling the revised rules set that will accompany the game.) The game adds two new character types: Heros and Villains. this is the only real change. The rest of the minor changes are purely a universal scenario setting that can encompass other scenarios if the desire is there.
There are some new cards in this set to be added into the T1 and AvP sets such as a few rogues, aliens, the T1000, and some marines (including a whole mini set for the movie Predator).
The Premiere set of Last Action Hero is complete and uploaded with 335 cards. Not all of the cards are actually done by me, but over 2/3 of them are my own original creations and physicall creating them is the hardest part. There are currently two expansion sets in the planning stages. the first will further the cast of different movies and concetrate a lot more on superpowers via effect cards and add a much greater range of locations and winning condition cards. the second set i want to do will have mostly cosplay cards so that i can delve into aspects of anime and animated superhero's whom do not have a live action movie (things such as DBZ and other action toons.)
