John Kaidyn is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist. (That means he draws comics.) His work has been seen in galleries, hospitals, band posters and t-shirts, just to name a few. He has had 2 mildly successful web-comics, one which ran for 6 years and over 400 issues. He currently has 5 published works one can buy by clicking the links below, and has two more projects in the works. He lives in Atlanta and spends his days as a mild-mannered school teacher. He is also not very good at designing websites, and apologizes. Art Gallery Email him at j.kaidyn@gmail.com. I also write for and post comics about my life at Time is a Loop

Bullet-Bill Time (August 08): is a comic about John's "Rock Band" (as in the videogame with the plastic instruments) Band and their struggles to stardom. Its about how after beating their online rivals' high-score they are sucked into the TV and have to fight them like in manga, or real life, depending upon your viewpoint. You can read the entire comic online now for a limited time, but don't forget that if you order a copy, it comes with lots of extras! Read it here.
You can order it here via paypal:

Paul's 'Zine No. 6: Philemon (July 07): is a short (10p) story about John's reinterpretation of Paul's letter to Philemon (from the bible). Its cute, and simple and apparently much more popular than anything else he has ever done, which is sorta sad, since he did it in a day. It's almost sold out in the store, but for your viewing pleasure he has the whole comic here available for a limited time! page 1 page 2 page 3 page 4 page 5 page 6 page 7 page 8 page 9 page 10

Zorro and Ester (Oct 01-Aug 07): is a comic he has done since 2001. It is about the title characters having bizarre, surreal adventures. It started out terrible and has progressed a bit into the realm of mediocre. Read it here

Emo (Apr 05-May 06): Is a comic John has pretty much given up on, sadly. It is one of those boring reality stories everyone wants to do when they are in college. It can be found here. It is separated into 24 page stories. Once he finish each storyline, he redrew it (with greater detail) and print it in 'zine format for you to order and own! The finished 'zines are as follows:

More Adventurous (Apr 05): Is the first chapter in Emo. It was originally a comic John did for 24 hour comic day. It is a story that he had to make up as he went, and he only had 24 hours to do it. So the plot isn't the best thing in the world, and the art is sub-par, but you know, you do what you can in the time alloted. It is the story of Ash, a girl who finds some guy lying face down in the road. Yeah. Fun times to be had by all. Here are some preview pages:

Half a Mind (Jan 06): is the second storyline of Emo. It is about a day in the life of Nollo. Its not very exciting or amazing but it was fun to draw, and if you order a copy of the 'zine, it comes with completely redrawn art! Here is the really sad opening:
