Hogarth's / Spikey's Hedgehog Rescue - Membership and How to Join....

Please send an e-mail to:  dave_hall4@hotmail.co.uk  or write to:

Hogarth's / Spikey's Hedgehog Rescue,  "Lyndale", 23 Linden Road, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 0AR.

For everyone who sends a donation, however large or small, you will be automatically added to our Membership mailing-list for the newsletter and any other benefits of Membership.  Please enclose your name and full address (including postal code) on a sheet of paper, and make your cheque payable to  "Spikey's Hedgehog Rescue".

All Members of Spikey's (Hogarth's) Hedgehog Rescue Society receive our bi-monthly newsletter, plus any other newsletters/ magazines that are published from time to time - occasionally with a splash of colour!  All our Members are invited and actively encouraged to contribute to the newsletters, any hedgehog or other wildlife-related stories, anecdotes, poems, drawings, cartoons, photographs, etc.  All these, plus articles and updates with photos about our rescued hedgehogs, form the content of the newsletters, each issue.

Each issue is usually published at a specific time of the year, e.g. Spring, Summer, etc. and occasionally, there are double-issues.  A tradition of ours also is the special Christmas edition, usually published early in December.

Please note:  That we have a policy of spending the available funds on the feeding, care, incubation, veterinary treatment, etc. of rescued hedgehogs and other wildlife; not on paperwork, administration and wages.  We are entirely self-funded, non-profit making and have NO paid staff!  We rely completely on donations from within our Membership each year and the public, plus any other available means of fundraising.  We are not supported by any local authority.  All services we provide are made possible only by generous support from kind-hearted people.

We do regular food-collections in pet shops, whereby people buy food for the hedgies and donate it in the box, which we later collect at regular intervals.  This is one of our special Christmas food-collection boxes - this one in Champion Pet Supplies, in Nuneaton.
