The first weeks were very exciting.  We first started out with tests. We took pretests the first days. Our very first field trip was to MCG. We went to a physician’s assistants office. We studied some bones and anatomy. We also got to leave with some bubble gum.

The next week, (Week 2) in Algebra, we talked about exponents. We enjoyed listening to her cell phone ring. In Mrs. Perrin class we read a book called Black Like Me. We learned that racism is very real. One person thought racism did not exist today. We all learned that it is very real. In Dr. Stone class we started learning about cells. We did a couple of experiments with the microscopes.

It was interesting to see some cells. In Mr. Tarver’s class we did some work and explored the Internet. On the third week we went to the Walter Rehabilitation Center. We saw all the rehabilitation center’s equipment and we saw all the people to. In Mrs. Perrin’s class we wrote some essays and talked about racism some more. In Mrs. Sampson’s class we talked about exponential functions. In Dr. Stone we went deeper into the world of cells. We did a couple of assignments in Mr. Tarver’s class. That is a summary of the first three weeks of this summer for Group B.
