The Dark Knight Review
The Dark Knight has ABSOLUTELY lived up to expectations in addition to SHATTERING Box Office records. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker will go down as one of the ALL TIME greats. From start to finish the Dark Knight keeps you at the edge of your seat. It has set the mark for super hero epics and has MORE than made up for the blunders of Spider-Man 3 & X-men the Last Stand.
Batman was also extremely violent in this film and his darker side came across well. The movie's ending was a great twist and has huge potential for a sequel
The early demise of Two-Face was possibly the only regret but it does leave the door open for a NEW villain in the third installment. The Riddler makes the most sense and word is, Anthony Michael Hall may be the set up for it. Personally, a murderous villain like Black Mask, Red Hood, Hush or Bane would be nice. But Chris Nolan will certainly make the right choice.
