Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley goes to Texas!

Sunday, May 18, 2003

Flat Stanley is one cool little man! Flat Stanley headed out with two blondes on Sunday for a historical photo shoot. We first went to the San Jacinto Monument which is taller than the Washington monument. We then went inside and got his picture in front of General Sam Houston. Mr. Stanley was lovin' it. He thinks about moving to Texas later on life when he retires. He was all excited getting his picture in front of Jim Bowies, bowie knife. In the picture that has Stanley in front of TX...He is right where we are located in the Coastal part of the State, which is not too far from Louisianna.

After the going to the monument we all headed down to the N.A.S.A. at Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. He wanted to explore space, but he wasn't allowed to, so we took him to the big rocket outside instead. Flat Stanley was in awe of this huge machine. I will miss him when Tiffy mails him back to her cousin.
