In the Age of Apocalypse, Sabretooth led the raid of the United States Nuclear Defense Arsenel as a part of Apocalypse's then five Horsemen. During the mission, he proved himself to be weak when he refused to use the nuclear missiles and his role as leader was taken over by Candra who encased him in a telekinetic bubble. When the X-Men arrived on the scene, Candra temporarily let Sabretooth loose on a short leash to protect Gideon and their cause, but he was easily defeated by Weapon X, our world's Wolverine. Sabretooth would then reform and join the X-Men.

On a mission with Logan, the two were escaping from a burning building when Creed picked up the scent of a person still trapped. Sabretooth refused to leave someone inside the buiding to burn to death and discovered a young Blink. Sabretooth would become her father figure and they would share a familial bond.

When Blink and Sunfire discovered that cullings, the fullscale genocide of humans, were still active, Sabretooth signed up for the wrecking crew that was going to bring them to a halt, feeling guilty for his past crimes. In order to give the X-Men as much time as possible to stop the cullings in Chicago, Sabretooth had Blink teleport him and Wildchild to the location of the Horseman in charge, Holocaust. Before the two titans locked horns, Sabretooth dispatched Wildchild back to the X-Men in Chicago to relay the location of Holocaust's Infinite Processing Plant in Indianapolis. In the melee, Sabretooth was defeated, gutted, shackled, and chained.

Wildchild returned with the X-Men in Chicago and they were able to give Holocaust enough of a fight where he began to waiver and teleported back to Apocalypse's Citadel. After regrouping in Westchester, Sabretooth joined the party of X-Men that infiltrated Apocalypse's base of operations. It was here that Victor Creed was last seen before he became unhinged from time.

Sabretooth was an original member of the reality-hopping team known as Weapon X.

In a world where Wolverine stayed to lead Alpha Flight, Sabretooth was seen with Deadpool and Kane attempting to capture the Hulk. Weapon X wanted the Exile known as Thunderbird and the Shaman, to beat the Hulk into submission so, while they were bonding with Green Giant, Deadpool shot the Hulk in the head causing him to nuclear on the two John Proudstars. Thunderbird would successfully defeat the Hulk, but the Exiles would teleport in before Weapon X could ever lay hands on him.

While the Exiles were removing the Hulk to Alpha Flight's Research Facility, Sabretooth was shocked to see what he could swear was, not only Clarice, but his Clarice from his timeline. Before Sabretooth could make contact with Blink, Weapon X was teleported away despite seemingly failing their mission.

Blink and Sabretooth would finally be reunited when the Exiles and Weapon X met up again in a world overrun by Sentinels to team up and rescue David Richards from a prison camp, while the others helped occupy the Sentinels outside the facility, Blink teleported Sabretooth along with Vision and Nocturne to where Richards was.

After the safe rescue of Richards, the Tallus told Sabretooth and Blink that that they were to kill the child. However, Sabretooth and the Exiles did not want to follow through with their orders. Deadpool openly objected and argued against them because Weapon X had faced a similar situation before where they had to stay in a timeline for months because Sabretooth would not let them kill Gambit. When Wade grabbed the Richards, held a gun against the David's head, and was preparing to murder the child, he was grabbed by Sabretooth who then killed Deadpool by snapping his neck. The powers that be would replace Deadpool with Iron Man. Sabretooth and the Exiles would escape with David via teleportation.

Their escape was shortlived as Vision was able to track the residual energies signatures of their teleportations and lead Weapon X to Sabretooth and the Exiles. When the two teams clashed, Sabretooth fought toe-to-toe with the Spider until Sunfire momentarily took Parker out of the battle by blasting him from above.

When the Nimrod Sentinels appeared to retrieve Richards, Sabretooth escaped along with the Exiles and the majority of Weapon X. In order to repair the timeline without killing David, Sabretooth elected to stay in this reality and raise Richards to ensure that he wouldn't become the monster he could be. Blink told Creed that he is a wonderful father as she was saying her last good-byes, thinking that she would never see him again. Creed assured her that, when this all ended, he would find her again.
