GameMaker is a wonderful program which allows you to ... well... MAKE your own video games. On this page you'll find a couple of work-in-progress games and a few Tutorials.

Jump Through Platform Tutorial

I made this tutorial once I figured out a rather nifty method of achieving Jump Through Platforms. Alot of people have a hard time making these in their platform games and I thought this would help them out alot.

***This tutorial is only for people with GameMaker***

This is a pirate video game based upon my comic "Legends" featuring Alex Ze Pirate. You choose which level you want to play, then work your way through to defeat the boss. Along the way collecting gold to buy powerups. It's still a work-in-progress, but it's makin' fine strides towards completion. I hope you all like it so far.

The Adventures of Janus

4.20 mb

My little elf dude, Janus, stars in his first video game. It's based on my comic book, so making the levels was rather easy. The hardest part was programing his movements. It's about 90% finished right now. You can download the latest version here.

Daria's Dig

This is a game I started to work on to push the capabilities of GameMaker. I love to explore and I wanted to make a huge game where you have to wander, collect clues, and maybe even feel tense because of the mood. This Game has alot of errors, but it's still alot of fun to run around in. The big technological achievement is that she can cling to the edges and pull herself up!

This is a rather unique game that I made recently. It is complete, so you don't have to worry about bugs or anything. I got the idea when talking to a friend of mine. The object of the game is to trace the outlines of various pictures within a time limit. The more accurate you are when tracing, the better your score. There are 7 pictures total right now, I might add more later.

This is just a quick program i made for a friend. She likes David Bowie, so i made a pong game with Bowie pictures. To make it more challenging i added falling blocks which affect the ball.
