Take a vintage R5-D4 head and trim out the inside center
Take the silver collar and trim it so it sits flat on the R2 body
Glue the head and collar to the R2 body
Cut little Q-tip pieces for the "eyes" and glue on
Paint "eyes" silver
Paint yellow and give a black wash.

Any R2(except flashback)

Briefly spotted in Episode 1, reparing the hyperdrive on the Queen's starship, before being picked off by a laser blast.
Basicly take any R2 figure of your choosing.
Paint blue areas yellow, and fill in silver trim.

Take any C3P0 and paint copper with a little red mixed in
Paint eyes yellow and paint silver trim. Optional: paint "Thank The Maker" on right bum in blue.

Paint head black
Cut Q-tip pieces for "eyes" and paint silver

Simply take Death Star Droid and swab with light acetone nail polish remover
Paint on rust stains

TC-6 Protocial Droid

Basicly a simple repaint
Paint brick red, then give him a black "wash"
Then use silver to give him "wear" patterns, and paint eyes yellow
