Gail is quiet and etherial. People often get that feeling they can't tell what she's thinking. She smiles and watches and then joins in at just the right moment.

In her design work at Cloud, In the Cloud days, she soared like a rocket. She was a master of line drawing, art design & illustrational collage. Her gift for collage is demonstrated by one of her best book jackets, "The Secret Life of Plants".

Whatever the assignment she was given, she always remained unruffled and composed, even during deadline chaos.

She had a trademark wild, bright color fashion sense that she was well known for. She dressed for success, and added a subtle sophistication to the Cloud's cartoon environment.

Her design sense branched out into fashion, with an entire collection of one-of-a-kind Plexiglas rings, several of them wryly commenting on the Cloud preoccupations with smoking and drinking.

Gail seemed sweet beyond description, with a musical child-like voice and unassuming manner. But in in her own way, she was a real tough chick that could rise to challenges amazingly well.

Her cartoon homage to Betty Boop showed she had a soft spot in her heart for that wonderful Femme Fatale, and perhaps had aquired for herself several of Betty's best characteristics – Talent, Charm and Heart.
