From places unknown in the time stream 8 unknown mutants have appeared having no memory of how they got here, just that quite simply they were. The military and S.H.I.E.L.D are both watching these unknowns as if under a microscope until they are proven to not be 'a threat'.

December 1997
Three of the unknown mutants become better known to S.H.I.E.L.D as Nate Grey, Rachel Summers, and Rina Logan. All three have very known mutant familial ties and S.H.I.E.L.D watches them closer.

February 1998
Franklin Foggy Nelson is placed as District Attourney and helps Matt Murdock get his law license back. Hells Kitchen cheers over having their advocate back.

April 1998
FOH Crucify 6 Mutants and throw them off Brooklyn Bridge, the case is later dismissed do to lack of evidence. Daredevil believed to achieve justice and left behind a flaming calling card as those people were later found 'deceased'.

The Vigilante Justice Keepers are growing in number, FOH looks to eliminate them as well by trying to get a bill into congress for voting about shoot to kill on them.

The Shoot to Kill bill gets shot down in congress and legislature by a considerable amount of votes.

An Unknown Virus starts attacking mutants.. No record of anything like this in any database as it is only attacking mutants (so far)

Legacy virus is named and work begins to find a cure.

December 1999
More mutants fall ill to the Legacy Virus, no cure in sight.
