Mickey Mouse

When I was a young child, I was fascinated with the Disney characters and Mickey Mouse was my favorite. I even had a Walt Disney play set complete with the castle and little figures.

I thought that it would be fun to do a Mickey Mouse film. I decided to use the song "Hey Mickey" by Tony Bazzle.

I wore mouse ears from Halloween, a black sweat shirt, black tights and red shorts. I used a belt for the tail. I used white clown makeup on my face and wore a black sponge nose.

The video begins with Mickey sitting at the table reading a comic book about himself. He gets up from his chair and does a little dance.

In the next scene, Mickey is asleep holding a stuffed toy of himself. He wakes up, stretches and then hops out of bed and then starts to brush his teeth.

My oldest son, Ryan, has two pet mice. During the next scene, Mickey reaches into the cage and picks up one of the mice, holding it to the camera. (No animals were harmed during the filming of this video).

The next scene shows a close up of our cat, Simba. Mickey sees the cat and is scared, leaping up on the bed and then running to hide in a corner.

We used a battery operated Baby Minnie in the next scene and filmed her as she crawled across the table.

Mickey is playing video games on the computer using, of course, a mouse. In another scene, he is watching cartoons of himself.

The film ends with Mickey dancing while holding Baby Minnie.
