Ability AudioBooks and Dick James Seminars was founded by Richard Bottkol, also known as "Dick James"--a veteran Radio and Television Commercial Announcer and News Anchor / Reporter.

His broadcast-trained resonant voice can project enthusiasm and excitement, soothing assurance or  'strictly business' narration for your commercials, or training on CD, DVD or videotape.

Richard narrates each of Ability Audiobooks' CD and audiocassette titles.

For print media, Richard also wrote and produced a monthly newsletter for a Fortune 500 company from 1989 to 1993. The publication enjoyed a circulation of about 6,000 copies nationwide.

His layout and writing captured first place for design and writing in the Newsletter competition of a major Houston Texas area Professional Marketing Society.

Richard's creative talent was recognized decades earlier, as he has been doing illustrations since rendering illustrations that appeared in his own High School yearbook.
