Brace yourself for a looooong list people!

Main characters

Mario: The most well-known videogame hero. He is the “star” of the comic. He hates being called “Jumpman,” which Cranky always does. He prefers stories to be told correctly. Also, he easily gets annoyed. If someone takes his hat and wears it, he beats the living hell out of them….especially Tails. No one knows if he in reality is gullible and stupid. He has a huge bag of funny insults to hurl at Cranky.

Luigi: Mario’s brother. He complains about not having a good game to start off with. No one knows what Luigi has for a brain. He always wants to have the starring role. Everyone knows that Mario seems to be smarter while Luigi is tall and kind of stupid. (Like those old Loony Toon Cartoons!)

Toad: The craziest VG hero of them all. If he eats too much sugar…he’ll go NUTS! When he is nuts, he eats everything. So everyone must take this as a precaution. Everyone wonders where he keeps his bag of 1-up mushrooms hidden.

Peach: Mario’s “girl.” She claims she has a long time rivalry with Princess Zelda. If she hears something about marriage that concerns Zelda, her brain blows a screw loose.

Link: The idiot of this comic. He is supposed to want to marry Zelda but he rather would marry Samus because he thinks she is hot. He is abused often by Samus. He constantly overreacts whenever he and the gang are outnumbered. It’s a very rare moment when he says something intelligent.

Samus: The Bounty Hunter. She hates Link with a passion. If Link asks her out, she beats him up in any fashion possible. The people she likes are Rockman, Knuckles, X, Zero…….the boyfriends are endless! (whew!)

Rockman: He is always there to defend BOTVGH island whenever Dr. Wily tries to take it over. Samus likes him because he is not as stupid as Link.

X and Zero: The two are best friends. AND NO THEY ARE NOT GAY. Samus seems to like Zero a bit more than X because of his hair. X has to remind Zero sometimes of his dislike of violence. They both hate n00bies and n00bettes that make up theories about the Rockman and Rockman X storyline. (Can you say plot?)

Sonic: He used to keep on killing Mario and the gang because of his rivalry with him. But now he is good since Nintendo took Sega under their wing and is enhancing his old games to make them better with extra interactive features.

Tails: He keeps trying to take Mario’s hat. Tails is Sonic’s friend. He acts like a child too much.

Secondary Characters

Blues: He is Rockman’s brother. Rarely makes an appearance because no one knows where he is. Rockman keeps trying to take the shades off of Blues so he knows what he looks like.

Knuckles: A good friend of Sonic's. Samus likes him a lot. Link gets all jealous because she calls Knuckles "baby" and not him. The strangest thing is, when he was created, is that he LIKED playing Nintendo's consoles!

Dr. Light: The creator of Rockman and Blues. He exaggerates every past events with Shakespeare. Mario has to beat him up when Dr. Light does that.

Kirby: The cute one. He sometimes goes mental and eats everything up. And when that happens, that isn’t good. His favorite thing seems to be wet sponges And how magical they are. Everyone keeps wondering what he is and they sometimes argue about it.

Cranky Kong: The supreme annoyance of BOTVGH island. He keeps calling Mario “Jumpman.” When he does that then Mario either asks him not to be called that name or he fights Cranky. Cranky always rants on about back in his day and raves about "the good old days." Interestingly enough, Mario somehow finds a good insult to hurl at Cranky when Cranky talks about either two! He isn't too happy about becoming a secondary character.

Zelda: She is “Peach’s rival.” Zelda almost married Cranky. To Link, she seems to be the only one that understands him but sometimes treats him as if he was stupid.

Fat Lady: That is an Earthbound sprite. She keeps on ranting about how terrible violence is and the numerous unacceptable things in the comic and how this is influencing little children to beat each other up. The next best annoyance to Cranky. She is constantly trying to ban BOTVGH: the sprite comic, BOTVGH: Fan Fiction and possibly BOTVGH: TND. If it was successful she would replace it with Cartoon of Walt Disney Characters.

Bub and Bob: He’s Bub, that’s Bob and they’re from Bubble Bobble </bad pun>  and Bust-A-Move. They both claim they can be evil which is nearly impossible. However they probably might find a way. (Can you say “foreshadowing?”)

Villains

Bowser: He is the villain for Mario. He doesn’t seem to be very much of a villain. Bowser rarly attempts to take over BOTVGH island. The only thing he does is take off with Peach and Mario has to get her back.

Dr. Wily: Now here is a villain. Constantly tries to take over BOTVGH island. 99% of the time he fails because his robots or someone mess up on building the device. He can’t seem to think up of anymore Robot Master names but makes a Doc Robot and shoves something inside it. He made Forte and Zero. However he no control over Zero seeing how he is one of the good guys. Duh!

Wario: Your #1 stupid villain. He is trying to be evil but he is annoying too much because he likes Brittney Spears music.

(no sprite  yet. Come on you custom spriters out there!) Waluigi: He would be smarter than Wario but doesn’t read the instructions step by step to complete a device of pure evil. Instead the device backfires on them.

Reacurring Villains

Forte: Rockman’s Rival. Half of the time he hails to Dr. Wily’s every whim. The other half….who knows? At special events he seems to be good and not ruin everything.

Sigma: He seems to find a reason to keep coming back from the dead. He hates people that make Mr. Clean jokes about him behind his back. X and Zero are always there to stop him.

Other Characters

Cow King: He is the king of all cows hence the name Cow King. He was brought into existence by Author UDX. His existence had something to do with Earthworm Jim, which might be explained in a future comic. Cow King also has a huge army of cows and drops them on hapless videogame characters! J

Cowamov: Cow King’s right-hand-cow. He is in charge of the army of cows. Also created by UDX. And that is General Ouramov’s hat he is wearing. I know, I know…the name is a rip-off of General Ouramov from Golden Eye.

Cow: A soldier in The army of cows. No one knows how many of these there are in Cowamov’s army. They have hidden in their base the last resort of all torture, and no that is not what you think it might be.

Authors

NOTE: The following have no custom sprite that they themselves have created. They only have a picture.

Martin Smith: The creator of the BOTVGH idea. He is well respected by everyone. So, to sum this up, he would be the master of all. However he rarely makes an appearance and not many people know him. Not too many people know him. He rarely makes an appearence. And yes that is a Forte Navi sprite from Rockman EXE 1. (Megaman Battle Network 1)

H cuz: He is Martin’s right-hand-man. The webmaster of BOTVGH: Fan Fiction. H cuz is the official football forcaster of BOTVGH: the sprite comic. He has been thinking of retiring from the Fan Fiction site and handing it down to his #1 trusted person. And that isn’t Mario. It is most likely his favorite author.

UDX: He owns a lot of Pokémon and Digimon. His Charmander can’t evolve but has better attacks than a normal Charmander. He owns BOTVGH: TND for anime characters. He loves portable game systems.

KlawKat: The king of all insanity for BOTVGH. To describe his behavior…..well…..Klawkat is just Klawkat. He owns Klawkat’s WOR (World of Ruin)

: Is he friend or foe? Time will tell. He is probably the author for BOTVGH: TSC (the sprite comic). Whoever he is, he is very powerful. (A plot!) He also hates n00bs. Also, he likes anime. Especially the Rockman EXE anime. He takes Japanese, loves it with a passion, and is proud of it. Also, he seems to know every piece of videogame history.

If you know of an actual videogame hero/villain, introduce them in a creative way when you come up with your own plot of comics. Also, be sure you give them a good description of their character that you like or what you think that I like. So Submit them to me. They can’t be made up by you or are fan characters. However if you have a custom sprite, I will consider it as your author sprite.
