They hope you will enjoy your time here. They are also saying a big
hello to all their ferretfriends out there....and remember, the number
one rule about ferrets:
It's not you that owns the ferret, it's the ferret that owns you.
So, according to these little words above, I'm proud to be owned
by four of these little bandits.
I bought my first ferret 1999, it was a sable female. I named her Sammet
(swedish, meaning velvet) after one of my favourite character in David
Eddingsbooks. In 2000 I decided to start breeding, and the same year
Sammets first litter was born.
Sammet is a very nice girl that loves to steal snacks from the table, play
with other ferrets and of course play with me...often when I'm trying to sleep.
The second one I got was a male, he was the only male from Sammets first
litter. I named him Silke, also after one of my favourite characters in
Eddings books. He is a pastel (in the states I think his color would be
called champagne). He is born 2000.
He has a very gentle temper and one of his favourite places is to be asleep
on my bed. He is also a very good looking guy with a charming attitude.
My third ferret was also a male, and in the same color as Silke. He was born
2001 and had two homes before me. I named him Spider, this time after my
favourite character in the TV-serie "Sweating Bullets" (aka Tropical Heat).
He's a charming fellow that absolutely loves to do things he know he's not
allowed to do, like try to steal socks or shoes.
My latest one is also one of my own breedings, it's a sable male (probably a
dark sable). He is born march 29:th 2002 and are named Kron, after a character
that one of my favourite acters has played. He's Sammets and Spiders son.
