What is South Park?
A construction-paper based animated cartoon series that airs a new episode at 10pm Wednesday nights on Comedy Central. The pilot episode, Cartman Gets an Anal Probe, aired on August 13th, 1997 (yes, you guessed it, that was a Wednesday night).

So, where is South Park actually located?
Well um... Colorado. Duh. Actually, the 'real' town is Fairplay, Colorado, where co-creator Trey Parker grew up. Interestingly enough, a place called South Park City is located in Fairplay; it is a reconstruction of an old mining town from Colorado.

How long does it take to make an episode of South Park?
Well, when you take into consideration that normal cartoon episodes take 8 - 10 months to make, and all the voices, designs, writing, coffee breaks, re-writing, encouragement, reading, research, and integrity that go into one episode of South Park... about five days, yeah.

Well, can you tell me who makes these episodes?
Trey Parker and Matt Stone. You can find out more about them on their page (link above).
