Powerpoint Project

 

Here’s the assignment…you and a partner will be assigned a topic that deals with the history of journalism.  In the next period and one half, you will need to research that topic and create a Powerpoint slide show that explains that topic to your peers.

 

You will be graded on the following:

 

Ø      Accuracy and relevancy

Ø      Thoroughness of information (you are the experts and the only ones researching this topic—you need to teach your peers)

Ø      Preparing a slide show with the following:

o       Title slide with presenters’ names (one slide)

o       Thorough explanation of the assigned topic and its significance to journalism today (as many slides as needed)

o       Images on each slide

o       Documentation slide that lists web sites used to create the presentation (one slide)

 

Ø      Presentation to class

Ø      Effort and use of class time

Ø      Written final assessment that includes information from all peer presentations.
