The home stadium of the team is Staples Center is right downtown Los Angeles . The stadium has some of the top facilities including a team store, its own bar and restaurant outside of arena. The bar and restaurant is called the Fox Sports Sky Box. The stadium is named for the Staples office-supply company, one of the center's corporate sponsors. The center opened in 1999 and has a seating capacity of 19,000 for basketball and 16,000 for ice hockey . The massive arena was built costing $375 million. The stadium was constructed in a record 18 months and is already setting records. The naming rights were sold in a $100 million deal with office-supplier Staples and it is the only venue to host two NBA teams and one NHL team. Some of the other facilities at the stadium include an eight sided video scoreboard and a 20,000 square foot plaza entrance with a large, digital screen to greet visitors. The Staples arena is one of the most favored by the fans
