Interested to join US NGOs as an India volunteer or interested to start non-profit organization for development of Indian poor artisans Groups, self-help groups, Micro-entrepreneur groups, women and children.

My Technical Qualification: Passed Diploma of Electrical Engineering.

* 17 years working experience with grass root NGOs,Cooperatives to  implement rural development programs.

* Having knowledge of project proposal development, representation & implementation.

* Having contact with NGOs of West Bengal &other states of India.

* Having knowledge of Fair Trade and Overseas Marketing of Indian Artisans and Micro Entrepreneurs Products.

* Having knowledge of Micro Enterprise Development, Artisans Co-Ops. Development and other social development project implementation in grass-root level.

Details Information of My Volunteers Team: 

In India, we, some experienced community development volunteers are helping grass-root level Indian NGOs to plan and implement community-based project in their target communities as a purely voluntary / no-profit no-loss basis. We are operating this work in non-formal way and planning to register a non-profit organization.

Objectives of our work are to:

* Provide assistance to grass-root community based Indian NGOs to plan their need based development projects.

* Help community based NGOs to tap Government and Overseas Resources for their development projects.

* Provide project implementation training to project officers, Community volunteers, field workers and self-help groups.

* Promote new community based project concept and represent to National and international development organizations on behalf of grass-root Indian NGOs.

* Coordinate national and international volunteer’s placement in different grass-root NGOs.

* Coordinate domestic and overseas marketing support to artisans groups, micro entrepreneurs groups and self-help groups.

  • Overseas Partner Juries will initially select 3 child art from each country and call the artist for participate to final art competition in developed country.
  • Overseas Partner will organize the final child art competition in their country with the help of volunteers and arrange necessary financial assistance from donors and corporations.

to UN and other Govt. and private organizations.

• Overseas Partner will arrange to visit child artist to

different environment organizations, donors and

networking organizations in their countries. So that, child

artist can present their art album to this organizations.

Phase-II Reproduction of child art

   

Reproduction of selected child art for distribution /sale among schoolchildren globally

  • Selection of child art from art gallery in the internet.
  • Design development of the following products for putting child art through these products.

-- Greetings cards, T-Shirts, Shopping Bags, Caps, Balloons & Toys, Exercise Book, Child Photo album, Child garments, Clothing, child art poster & others.

* Design development of child art calendar for sale and free distribution to different Govt. & Non- govt. Organizations, donors and supporters.

  • Overseas Partner will select appropriate child art and develop product design by experts.
  • After completion of product design, Overseas Partner will send product design to India and other developing countries coordinators for low cost child art reproductions.
  • Overseas Partner will establish ECO-SHOPS/ PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION CENTRE in developed countries.
  • Overseas Partner will import the production from different countries coordinating agencies and distribute/ sale the products directly to school network USA, CANADA, EUROPE and Other countries.
  • Overseas Partner will publish child art calendar and distribute these calendars to different Govt. & Non-Governmental Organizations Globally.

Phase III Fund Raising

   

Establishment of ECO-FUND for implement school and community based projects in developing countries.

Global artisans community tele-village

Project concept

Lack of product marketing resources (Domestics & Overseas) of Micro Entrepreneur groups, community artisans groups.

          Lack of technical design resources.

 

5. Project background information:-

Artisans of different states of India in different traditional trades like bamboo/cane work, Handmade/machine made embroidery textile, silver/brass metal, weaving cotton & silk fabrics, hand painting & printing jute product, jewelry etc. work from one generation to next generation using different traditional machine & equipment's. Government assistance reaches to these artisans in very miniature form and in a very regulated manner. As a result, the artisan has to depend mostly on their intermediary, who provides the raw materials and market the products in exchange of small piece wages to artisans. The survey conducted on the background & problems of artisans reveal the following salient features: -

 

 

 

6. Introduction of "Artisans Community Tele village": -

To overcome the present problems and changing present situation of artisans/Micro Entrepreneur groups, INDIA VOLUNTEERS Team have planned to introduce ICT based Artisans Community Tele Village (ACTV) projects in the ARTISANS COMMUNITY.

ACTV is a physical place with computer, multimedia, Internet connection that provides community people (Specially Artisans Communities) with public access to ICT for educational, social & economic development. ICT offering Internet access allows even the most remote village to communicate and exchange information with the rest of the World with training, communities can locally access, manage, produce and communicate information for development.

Rural Artisans groups, women self-help groups micro-entrepreneur groups will get latest design technology & training, market information, buyers & sellers meet, raw materials availability, display & promote products in front of local and global buyers directly through ACTVs.

 

7. Goal of Artisans community Tele Village (ACTV)

The goal of this project is to promote ACTV in the artisans communities through enhancing the capabilities of NGOs in that Artisans community to assist member Artisans groups to tap necessary marketing, technical, financial & other resources through INTERNET & WEBSITE for social-economic upliftment of rural poor Artisans groups and their families.
