This is my great grandpa and grandma, JOSEPH & ELIZABETH MCCOLLUM'S graves in the Hubbertville Church of Christ Cemetery. Engraved on his tombstone is: "Father I give my spirit up. I trust in thy hand. My dying flesh shall rest in hope and rise at thy command." He was 22 years old when his father started them toward fayette County, Alabama. He didn't marry until the death of his grandmother Ann. She lived in Joseph's home until she was passed 90 years old.
