Biography
Florentino Cruz
Florentino Cruz, a.k.a. "Indian Charle", was another
member of the cowboy outlaw faction in Tombstone.
He was shot and killed March 1, 1882, by Wyatt Earp due to Wyatt's belief
of Florentino's involvement in
the death of Wyatt's younger brother, Morgan Earp. He was killed at a wood
camp in the mountains.
He was seen running away with Wyatt and posse in pursuit of him. Wyatt admitted
to killing Cruz and claims
Cruz confessed and gave him so information before he killed him.
Cruz befriended Frank Stilwell, Pete Spencer, Curley Bill Brocius, Johnny
Ringo and Ike Clanton.
He was a known rustler and outlaw.
