About Contentnea Junction:
The purpose of this site is to share some of my railfan experiences with other people through photography. The jpgs on this site are only compressed 10% which means they might be a little slow to view but hopefully will be well worth the time.
I have included some railfan information about eastern North Carolina, timetables, frequncies, etc.. Also a partial list of A-line trains. For more comprehensive CSX freight schedules go to the bullsheet.com. I hope to include more in the future, possibly even a map or two.
I have arranged the photos according to subdivision, almost all we taken in North Carolina and Virginia. So far I only have one page of NS pics possibly add more later on.

Where is Contentnea Junction?
There's really nothing special about the name, its just a place...the junction of CSX Southend subdivision and W&W subdivision near Wilson, NC. Its just one of the places I like to visit, I sort of liked the name and it stuck
