Women With Breast Cancer
If you are presently being treated for breast cancer, just found out you have breast cancer, or have had breast cancer in the past, I would like to hear from you.
Having breast cancer myself, I find that hearing other women’s stories of survival and their experiences with breast cancer brings me much needed hope and encouragement.
I am in the process of compiling a book of many women’s stories of their experiences with breast cancer. My hope is to publish this book as a resource for women to find comfort, information, and to know that they are not alone.
If you are interested in sharing your story, there are certain pieces of information that I would appreciate if you would include somewhere in your story:
-How you detected your cancer
-What stage your cancer is/was
-If there is/was lymph node involvement
-The grade of your cancer
-Your treatment plan
-Side effects of the treatment
-Coping mechanisms you find helpful
-Anything and everything else you wish to share about your experience
I ask that you include some of the specifics of your cancer because I think it is important for women to be able to read about other women who have had the same type of breast cancer as them and have survived, or at least to compare treatment plans.
Please share your story in the hope of reaching other women and providing them with hope, encouragement, and the much needed realization that they are not alone.
Please include your name, a return address, and an e-mail address if available.
