Hello Everyone. I have just recently been informed that my little sister has been diagnosed with Lymphotic Cancer. She is ten years old and her name is Brandy. She is my step-sister but I have known her all my life and and hearing this terrible news was very hard.

Brandy has always been strong. I remember when the commercials with the children with Cancer would come on television and she would always say, "That will never be me." I never thought that it would come to her.

Brandy and her brother and sisters (Scott, Kris, Lori) went to spend easter weekend with their father. Brandy's fever reached a 102° that day so her father gave her some Tylenol to bring it down. The fever went down to 98° and she went home. During the night her fever climbed again. My dad (Roy) and step-mom (Kadie) gave her some Tylenol to bring it down. The fever went down again and she went to school the next day feeling much better. The fever climbed again and they decided to keep her home from school. She complained of stomach pains so they took her to the hospital thinking it might be Appendicitis. The hospital did tests all night, and found a tumor in each lung the size of an apple. She also has three on her spinal cord and some in her lymph nodes. They flew her to Salt Lake City. We never got any signs. My dad called me the day they found out because Brandy wanted her "big sister to know." I was totally shocked. Brandy is so young and she now is going through Chemo. I love her and I just wanted everyone to know, that it can happen to anyone. Please send this to everyone you can...My prayers are with you, Brandy. I love you.

Love...Ashley
