The Bird's Song
Life has been so hectic that I never took time to hear,
the beautiful song of the birds sung sweetly in my ear
As I watch the sunset and hear the sweet melody,
I dream of days before,
where everyday was wonderful,
where I'd hope for something more,
But I didn't look at what I had or could lose by that matter
So I wished too much and lost too much
and now I'm just sadder
But as I listen to this song,
I realize, I am right where I belong
Because I know I have to rebuild my life wherever I left off
This bird's song has made me see
I have a future,
It's me.
