Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced
zucchini, chopped red bell pepper, Italian seasoning, pepper salt
and garlic powder.
Sauté about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables
are tender-crisp; set aside.
In a bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Stir in half and half, grated
provolone cheese, and flour. Add the vegetable mixture and pour
into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle grated Romano cheese on top.
Bake in a 350 degree oven about 40 minutes, or until the center is
set. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Baked Cream Cheese Spread
you will need the following...
one 4 ounce can of crecent dinner rollls.
8 ounce package of cream cheese.
1 egg,beaten.
1/2 teaspoon dillweed.
On a lightly floured surface unroll crecent rolls and patch together to make a 12x4-inch rectangle.
take half the dill weed and sprinkle it on top of the cream cheese
press the dill lightly into the cream cheese
place cream cheese (dill side down) in the middle of your dough.
sprinkle remaining dill weed on top of cream cheese pressing lightly.
place on a lightly grease,oven safe,cookie sheet.
brush with egg yolk.
bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly brown.
serve with apple wedges or your favorite cracker.
CheeseBalls
You will need the following...
8 oz. cream cheese
10 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup finely-chopped onion
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
optional Tobasco Sauce to your taste
Your favorite chopped nuts
Mix all ingredients except nuts and form into a ball. Roll the ball in the nuts.
MEXICAN SHRIMP COCKTAILS
you will need the following...
1/2 cup italian dressing
1/2 cup choped tomato
one 4ounce can of undrained chopped green chiles
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of honey.
1/4 teaspoon of hot pepper sauce.
2 teaspoons finely chopped cilantro.
1 pound cleaned and cooked shrimp.
In a bowl combine tomatos,chiles,green onions,honey,italitan dressing,and hot pepper sauce.
stir in the shrimp
cover and marinate
stir occasionally while marinating.
chill at least two hours before serving.
when ready to serve, stir in cilantro.
