I want to publicly commend our police departments in their handling of the incident involving my family. I believe their choosing to wait out the situation saved the life of my son and I'm grateful.
     I particularly want to acknowledge the 911 dispatchers, Jennifer Shurtz, Crystal Marks, and Marj Meyer. They all worked that day. Among those I am aware of are Detective Denis Bosque, Chris Teem, Bill Naylor, Mark Meister, Chaplain Sherry Johnston, and Steve and Rod (I don't have their last names). I also want to thank everyone that I have dealt with at the jail.
     I have been treated with professionalism and understanding for my concerns.
