Passion and Compassion
In our hearts there are burdens, in our souls there are fears, and in each other we find compassion, that compassion is what drives us to better ourselves but we’re that passionless people. There is very little difference in each and everyone but we make it seem as such as hills on the landscape when we describe a simple wrinkle on a woman’s face or a vast forest for a man’s hair. Yet we consider ourselves useless and obsolete. The thing is once we find that passion and compassion in others the world is ours. No one knows what it is to be expected, what is to happen, why we change, or better yet how we do such a thing. We call this “love”. But love is bad; it brings on memories of pain and hardships. Brings on what we never want to see the past. While yet we don’t really live in the future. Then there is the flipside, while we are in love everything is grand. Everything comes together in perfect harmony in a chaotic world. This is what we look for, harmony. All we need. Not love, not passion or even compassion, or others for that matter. We need harmony, a gentleness of the soul. Sometimes we find that in others. Other times we find it in ourselves.
