MB II Arabians~ Page 2

Besides the surprise of finding out that Sa was pregnant, I got a filly. How lucky could I get? I didn't have to risk breeding Sa again. I had a beautiful typey filly that was perfect...well, if she was grey, but other than that perfect...to me.

So I'm happy, I have some really well infused traits in this filly that I should be able to cross on about any kind of breeding program. And to me that's what makes foundation breeding so important.

Fadboo (Fah-boo) with Mama

'Boo has been a joy to raise and train. She's taken to training willingly. She was shown in halter from weanling through two. She's taken to work under saddle like a champ, and now, she and her 22 year old mama are driving a cart around the area, complete with sleigh bells, and an English Cocker in a seatbelt up front and an Irish Setter running along. We are a site.

I have definite ideas as to who I'd like to breed her to. I have in mind some stallions, first off, I want that Azraff/Ferzon cross.

The lines I've been researching for years are mostly Gainey, Gai Parada, and of course my precious El Azraff. I've been compiling research about the stallions standing througout the US with these lines close up. And it's hard, there aren't many out here in the west, but I've found some and I will include this information on this site, and update it frequently.

But that's how much El Azraff affected me. As a lover of the breed, to me, he was the epitome of "ARAB". Such a wonderful horse. Beautiful, strong, yet kind and gentle.
