The China Dress Site (Japanese text)
This Japanese site features a girl posing in scenic spots (temples, lakes, parks) wearing a Cheongsam. Plenty of photos but little variety nonetheless the downloads are quick. The site has not been updated in months but its definitely worth a few clicks of anyone's mouse.

Cha-i-na-mi zu-gi Laboratory (Japanese/English text)
What do you get if you cross a Cheongsam and a swimsuit? A Chinamizugi of course! This Japanese site is devoted to a garment which is basically a one piece swimsuit with a Mandarin collar. Apparently there are also Cheongsam inspired bodysuits and leotards in Japan.
The English is a bit awkward but the enthusiasm comes through.

ChinaQipao (Chinese/English text)
The webMaster of this site is obviously a fervent admirer of the qipao and a lot of effort has gone into it. Unfortunately, the chinese to English translation of the text is almost unreadable. If anyone can read the Chinese version could you give me an idea of what it says.

The Chinese Qipao Site (Chinese/English text)
This small but excellent site mainly comprises mostly of fashion photos from Chinese magazines. It also presents the history of the dress through photos from historical costume to modern variations.

This is the personal page of Susan Sangren, friend and contributer to the Emporium. She has a keen interest in Chinese life, art and culture, has can be seen in her essay "Qipao says freedom sometimes".

One of best online stores selling Cheongsam and many other Chinese garments. The site has had a recent makeover.

Based in Hong Kong, this is an excellent online store.
Well organised it also has an good measuring guide.
Payments can be made by money order.

The offline shop (English text)
A well presented and organized site.
The dresses on sale are modern variations of the Qipao.

A small but excellent site packed with information

Modassic (English text)
Apart from its beautiful collection of qipao they also sell Chinese arts and craft.

Taiwanese department store (Chinese text)
I don't know the name of this store but it has some lovely Cheongsam on display.
