"Where did you get these scars?" J.C. asked, well more like demanded to know. "There nothing." I tried to turn around. It had started to rain and I saw the others walking towards us. "Angel, tell me." I knew he was serious cause he never called me Angel. In a weak voice I told him, "Daddy" Then I started to cry. He looked at me shocked and then asked me "Why didn't you ever tell me?" "That's just it Josh," finally breaking free of his grip, "I couldn’t tell you. I believe everything he ever told me. I believed him when he said I was the devil's child, I believed him then he told me no one would ever love me and I believed him when he told me he would kill me if I told anyone and then them." I sobbed. He tried to hug me but I wouldn't let him. "Do you know how many time I waited for the mailman hoping he would bring me a letter from you, so that I could finally tell you? When you moved I knew it was safe for me to tell you cause I knew he couldn't hurt you, but I never got a letter." I said the last part in almost a whisper, so that only he could hear me. He looked at me shocked. I quickly got in my car and drove home.
