Morgain Le Fay
I
The sun lost its' way that merry a day
Departed to the shadowy forest heart
Given no such light on a birth so gay
Lo behold! The deformed child has wort
So medic did gather all good in cart
To rid the creature of all its' evil
Then fairest Igrain held him back - eyes sharp
For she believed not in magick's dark will
Or that she would be tricked enough to fall.
II
The second daughter born of fair Igrain
Was least loved and she so young turned to dark
Whence another sister came to young Morgain
Hatred for the younger grew like the lark
In forest's redness - did call on the shark
To shatter-deep the beauty in Elaine
For believed-not she, in the Holy Arc
And knew of much power within to gain
And knew of all whom she'd inflict with pain.
III
Deformed was dear Morgain, and desolate
And never quite aware of implied freedom
With books and time, she would annihilate
And good magick creates the castle-clear Avalon
Then Morgain noticed her dark magick's perfection
The good-hearted sorcerer, kind Merlin
Then saved Briton with goods' installation
But king Uther with Igrain shared gin
And through Merlin's deceit, came bastard kin.
IV
Soon Morgain had younger brother Arthur
She schemed against - filled her body with hate
And anger with magick's tongue, did so lure
A gnome - so bald - who matched her homely state
Then they combined-dark and neither could wait
For their fairy-evil queen, dear Mabon,
Half mortal, her powers did fascinate
In the obscure cave of spells whereupon
Dwelled the Mystical Merlin, magician.
